Did you know that nearly 25% of our members are female? And, this year, we have 8 girls teams playing in the DDSL, a new record for the club. We also have our most senior girls team, in recent memory, competing in the U15 Premier league. The club is thrilled to support the continued growth in girls football.

On a gloriously sunny day in September this year, Bohemian FC invited Dalkey United’s 2012 girls team to play a half time match at the hallowed grounds of Dalymount Park. The girls made a guard of honour to welcome the Bohemians Women’s team onto the pitch to play a League of Ireland match against Galway United. Then at half time, our girls took over the pitch to show off their skills! It was a fantastic experience and one they will never forget.
